Common Grades of Inconel and Their Properties:
- Composition: Approximately 72% Nickel, 14-17% Chromium, 6-10% Iron.

Inconel 718 Flanges:
- Composition: Approximately 50-55% Nickel, 17-21% Chromium, 4.75-5.50% Columbium + Tantalum, 2.8-3.3% Molybdenum.
- Properties: High yield, tensile, and creep-rupture properties, excellent fatigue and corrosion resistance, especially at high temperatures.
- Applications: Jet engine components, gas turbine parts, nuclear reactors, and cryogenic storage tanks.
Inconel 725 Flanges:
- Composition: Approximately 55-59% Nickel, 19-22.5% Chromium, 7-9.5% Molybdenum, 2.75-4% Columbium + Tantalum.
